In his first point of error, appellant urges that the trial court erred in assessing post-judgment interest at the rate of 18% per annum, arguing that the maximum allowable by statute is 10%. Pursuant to Rule 434 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, we modify the judgment so as to provide that interest will accrue on the amount of the award at the rate of 10% per annum from and after February 8, 1983, the date of judgment.
